Your curbside bin won’t take a mattress. Most transfer stations charge a separate mattress fee and make you handle it yourself, which means renting a truck, finding help, and giving up an afternoon. We’re usually cheaper than that once you count the day you get back.

We take innerspring, memory foam, latex, pillow-top, futons, box springs, bed frames, and headboards. Single mattress or eleven of them. Second floor, basement, or a walk-up with a tight stairwell — that’s our problem, not yours.

Bed bugs: tell us before we arrive. We’ll still take it. We just bag and handle it differently, and we’d rather know than find out.

Appliance Pickup and Haul-Away

Refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, ovens, microwaves, water heaters, and AC units.
Anything with refrigerant — fridges, freezers, AC units, dehumidifiers — has to be processed at a certified facility, and that facility charges a fee. Every honest hauler in Portland pays it. We put it in your quote up front instead of adding it to the invoice at the end. That’s the whole difference.
We disconnect and haul from kitchens, garages, basements, and utility closets. If it needs to come down a flight of stairs, we bring the right number of people.

Couch and Furniture Removal

Sectionals, sleeper sofas, recliners, loveseats, dining sets, dressers, desks, mattresses’ worth of bedroom furniture, and the office chair that’s been in the garage for two years.

Price depends on volume, weight, and access. Refrigerant appliances carry a recycling fee that we quote upfront. There is no fuel surcharge, no stair fee, and no charge for showing up

Where Your Old Mattress Actually Goes

Mattresses are one of the worst things in a landfill — they’re bulky, they’re slow to break down, and they’re almost entirely recyclable. Steel springs get recycled into new steel. Foam becomes carpet padding. Wood frames get chipped for mulch or fuel. Cotton and fiber padding gets reused.
Anything still in genuinely good condition gets donated where a partner will accept it. The rest goes to proper recycling and transfer facilities. We don’t illegally dump, and we’re happy to tell you exactly where your items went.
